Holy Crepe!
My apologies. I pretty much regurgitated my last post without realizing that it even existed. I was probably in a state of insomnia while writing that post. Don't mind me. Well at least I managed to upload a picture. Happy reading, folks. -
A Little Piece of Heaven.
Haven't been able to log into Xanga for the past week. But Mozilla Firefox finally came to use. And now I'm here. Making a Xanga-comeback. Well it's only been a month but you catch my drift.
Catching up here: Exams were gay. I think I might have passed Physics 'cause I finally knacked down and absorbed more. Overall, probably did alright. Took a limo with Christian from school to Melbourne (We're not spoilt. It's much cheaper than a maxi-cab. Yay to flat rates). Fine-dined. Went to Crown Casino and gambled for the first time and won 55 bucks. Wasn't planning on winning anything, but I recommend everyone to try gambling; It beats the arcades any day :P the next day, I woke up at 7am just to get slaughtered at my Interior Architecture interview at Monash. But hey, all my other interviews went well.
Flew back and the crew came down to my little Borneo home. I was a tourist in my own hometown but it was still a lot of fun! There was a lot of drama though because of the whole Bangkok thingo and deciding and convincing our parents to let us go to Thailand. After blahblahblah everyone decided to stay here longer. But heck, we had an awesome time! Took them everywhere: the city, mountains, islands, beaches, shopping malls, markets, orangutans, resort, k-boxing (c'mon we're in Asia), pubs, bars, lounges, clubs etc. 10 days of fun, madness and endless flow of booze.
And now, honestly, I'm slightly bored of KK. There isn't much motivation to get out of the house. Right now, I'd rather sit at home, play some Guitar Hero, bask under the air-con, glued to my laptop (with extremely slow internet), snack once in awhile. Everyone in KK is bored. The worse thing is that people get so bored to the extent where they'd end up going to watch boat races, or computer fairs, or ____. No, I'm not insulting them. I'm one of them too. It's what we do haha. Well, going to Hong Kong tomorrow. That'll be a good change of scenery!
I sound rather grumpy. Well it doesn't help that I recently caught a cold and the sad fact that I can't pass the final song on expert on Guitar Hero. Now my siblings think that Red Bull would make them excel cause I had a bit before and nearly finished the song. Ah well, here's a pic of us Pacific Islanders :P
Til then, adios amigos!

To whom this may concern,
Hi there stranger from Malaysia that visited my Xanga from hideandsleep's blogspot! I see you've spent nearly two hours going through nearly every single entry dating back from early 2006. Three years. My, my, you've kept yourself occupied! Anyway, listen, it's really nice of you to drop by - eventhough slightly interrogating - but don't mind me, I just enjoy checking my Xanga footprints to track down visitors like you! No, no, I'm not asking you to reveal yourself. In fact, I'd rather not know. Just a little heads up, you know.
Many thanks and kindest regards,
Rachel L.
and kids, that's why you should not look at your Xanga footprints. I think this Xanga is going back to Xanga visitor lock.

"He who makes a beast out of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man."
- Samuel Johnson
Well, I just found out that my mom's uncle passed away. I barely knew him. As a matter fact, I don't know who he is. I'm assuming that he was the crazy bald uncle that told me that I would grow taller than my older sister. My grandpa's sister's still hanging on. Aunt Aiko. I could never forget her. I have a shrine of origami paper cranes that we made together in the mini cupboard in my desk, along with random paper dolly, and little Japanese knick-knacks. Wait, that desk is gone, with everything else in it, since the old house is getting renovated. Crap. At least I received more Japanese knick-knacks in the Halloween package from the grandparents. I'll build my shrine from then on.
It's scary; how people disappear off the face of the earth at a random instance. I've never been to a funeral, but I can imagine it being absolutely morbid; whether it's the open coffin, or a burial, I would never be able to handle it. Actually, I have been to one. I'm not sure if it counts but it was a school field trip. In Grade 5, we were all asked to get into a bus where we were driven all the way up a hill. We got out and went into some house. I remember his surname was Stevens, one of those big-shot people. I'm pretty sure there's a park named after him, but yea, anyway, I remember seeing his purple-tinted skin, in a three piece suit, wearing at least an inch of makeup. His hair was slicked back, like one of those Italian Mafia leaders you see on TV. It was horrible, none of us knew him personally or at all. It became a social event; even the press was there, but then again, I'm sure that's what he probably wanted.
Last night, I started thinking of things I'd do if I only had 24 hours to live. It involved in spending every cent I got, skydiving, a friends and family reunion, and calling up every contact in my phone to say my 'goodbyes'. Also, about the afterlife, whether anything now would mean anything later.
I don't want to fast forward time. That would ruin the surprise. I guess that's why we don't know what happens after death. Gives you something to look forward to I suppose.
It's coming to 12.
Halfway through. 6 more papers. 2 more weeks. Night.
